What people ask us before a pilot
Do we have to replace the cameras already installed?
No. The unit reads the RTSP streams of your IP cameras or of your recorder, over the network you already have. What matters is not the brand of the cameras but the angle, the lighting and the resolution, all checked during the scoping visit.
Does the video go to the cloud?
No. The analysis happens on site, right next to the cameras. Only the events, their proof image and the health of the equipment reach the portal; continuous video stays on your premises, with an adjustable retention period.
What does facial recognition require in Morocco?
Images of people fall under law 09-08, and biometric processing requires the prior authorisation of the CNDP. Counting and footfall need no biometric data at all, and a non-biometric alternative is offered to employees for access control.
How many cameras does a single unit analyse?
Four streams in real time per unit, with processing measured at about 14 ms per frame in production. Beyond that you add a unit: the portal gathers every site and every unit on one screen.
Does the system work without an internet connection?
Yes. During an outage the unit keeps recording, analysing and storing its events; they are sent when the network returns, timestamped at the moment the fact happened rather than at the moment they arrived.
Do you read Moroccan licence plates?
Plate reading is in qualification, Moroccan plates included. Like every use case, it is validated on your own images during a pilot before any performance commitment.
